On the 'spy' issue, the International Criminal Court (ICC) will begin tomorrow from India-Pakistan legal battle. This legal battle begins in a time when there is a tension between two hostile neighbors in connection with a suicide attack in India's paramilitary vehicles.
Kulbhushan Sudhir Yadav, a former Indian Navy official arrested in March 2016 in Pakistan's Balochistan border near Afghanistan, was arrested. In April of 2007, the Pakistani military court sentenced him to death on charges of 'espionage, sabotage and terrorism'.
But India claims that Jagan is not a spy. He was abducted and taken to Pakistan. The United Nations Supreme Court has asked for the cancellation of the sentence given to New Delhi by ICC. India's complaint, Islamabad violated the Vienna Charter, has violated human rights. After World War II, the ICC was formed to meet international disputes.
After ordering the death sentence of Yadav to Pakistan's military court, New Delhi came to the IISI. Shortly after the application, the court gave a stay on the execution of Yadav. But the hearing of the case is waiting. Finally the hearing starts from tomorrow on Monday. The lawyers of New Delhi will present arguments on the first day. The next day, the lawyers of Islamabad are ready to present arguments on Tuesday. However, the case is expected to be made by the ICE in more than a few months.
Concerns about the issue of the Kulbhushan Yadav trial began in ICJ after the killing of 44 members of the paramilitary suicide squad in Kashmir. They fear that ongoing tensions between the relations of the nuclear-powered neighbors will increase further.
The attack on Kashmir last Thursday. Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for the attack. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that Pakistan will have to pay a "high price" for this.
Responding immediately to Modi's remarks, Islamabad responded. Foreign Ministry summoned Pakistan's deputy head of mission in Pakistan.
