Again a big push was played by Modi's government. The Supreme Court has canceled the government order to remove the head of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) chief Alok Verma, overnight, by the Supreme Court of India. He is returning to the place after three months. The court has also canceled the appointment of interim chief in place of Alok Verma.
The court said, Alok Verma can now go to his office, but he can not make major policy decisions.
A report in India's NDTV Online said that the Supreme Court dismissed the decision to send CBI chief Alok Verma to vacation and gave him the post of the Supreme Court. After three months, he returns to his position.
According to the NDTV report, the conflicts arose with CBI's Special Director Rakesh Astana, along with Alok Verma. FIR against Rakesh Ali In the debate, Alok and Rakesh sent the holidays to the center. Alok filed a lawsuit against the decision in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has given verdict in the case. Alok Verma, however, can not make any policy decision after getting the post.
On 15th October last year, the CBI itself got charges against their owner Rakesh. Five people, including Rakesh Asthana, were charged with corruption. It is said in the complaint that the exporter of meat exporters Moin Qureshi has taken a bribe of confidence in exchange for intervention in the case. Moin Qureshi has been accused of smuggling money abroad. Alok Verma has filed a complaint against the accused, Rakesh Asthana. Because, he was against Rakesh from the beginning.
However, before this incident, Rakesh had written a letter to the government alleging Alok. After formally forming the allegation, Rakesh Asthana took advance bail in the court. Later, the Modi government sent two CBI officials on leave.
Alok Verma challenges the Government's decision. He said the rule is that the CBI chief will be responsible for two years. The selected committee will be required to remove him.
It is argued from the government that the way the two officers' races were running, there was no way except for the holidays. The Central Vigilance Commission, the consultant of the government order, said that extraordinary solutions have to be solved.
