The highest number of deaths and identities in a single day in West Bengal

West Bengal witnessed the highest number of infections and deaths on Thursday after the outbreak of corona. 26 people have died in the last 24 hours. Infected 1 thousand 6 people. The first corona was identified on March 16 in West Bengal. Then this number is the highest.
324 people were infected in Kolkata yesterday. 13 people died. In all, the number of infections in West Bengal has increased to 25,911. 754 people died. Of these, a total of 6,036 people were infected in Kolkata. 456 people died.
A new seven-day lockdown has started in Kolkata and West Bengal at 5 pm yesterday. The lockdown is going on in 434 highly infected areas of 20 districts of the state including Kolkata. There are 23 districts in West Bengal. The remaining three districts, Kochbihar, Jhargram and West Burdwan, were not listed as containment zones.
The 434 areas where the lockdown has started are: 25 in Kolkata, 4 in Malda, 95 in North 24 Parganas, 54 in South 24 Parganas, 56 in Howrah, 23 in West Midnapore, 21 in Hughli, 12 in East Midnapore, 12 in East Banknipur, 9 in Bankurda, 13 in Purulia. 11 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Alipurduar, 5 in Darjeeling, 3 in Kalimpong, 30 in North Dinajpur, 10 in South Dinajpur, 4 in Murshidabad, 25 in Nadia and 9 in Birbhum.
All government and private offices in the lockdown area are closed. Vehicles are not running. Hat Bazaar closed. No one from outside can enter these areas. Can't get out. Barricades have closed various entrances and exits. If necessary, call the local administration and the police and they will come forward and help. Will buy the necessary products. As a result, when the lockdown started anew last evening, all those containment zones came to a virtual standstill.
However, no new infections or deaths were reported in five districts of West Bengal yesterday. The districts are Kochbihar, Alipurduar, North Dinajpur, Kalimpong and Jhargram.
