Chamling wants to break his record

Chamling's SDF is a member of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, but there are no alliances in this year's election. SDF is fighting alone in 32 assembly and one Lok Sabha constituency. BJP, on the other hand, has opposed the state's opposition Sikkim Krantikari Morcha. At the same time, India's football star Baichung Bhutia, Hamaro Sikkim Party, has emerged as an average voter.
