Princess Basmah claims she is in prison while in prison. He called upon the present king and the young king to release him and provide medical treatment. He alleged that he was detained in Riyadh along with his daughter without any charges. The royal court, King Salman or King Mohammed bin Salman did not give any explanation as to why he was detained despite repeated appeals. The Princess claimed that she had done nothing wrong. However, he was kept in Al-Haier prison. His health condition is very bad now.
However, two senior members of the Saudi royal family were surprised at the news of the arrest of Princess Basmah. One said that for a year he did not know any news about Princess Basmah. He thought that Princess Basmah was ill. Another member of the family said he thought he was imprisoned.
Princess Basmah is believed to have been arrested by a Saudi girl in March last year while leaving Saudi Arabia. He was not allowed to leave the country if he wanted to board a private jet for emergency treatment.

Human Rights Watch Human Rights Watch thinks Prince Mohammed bin Salman is behind the imprisonment of Princess Basmah. Because he is quiet about it. Human Rights Watch's senior research researcher, Rothna Begum, said that this was proof that many women were detained in Saudi Arabia. No one has the right to speak in the time of Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
An adviser to Prince Mohammed bin Salman was contacted for comment on Princess Basmah's complaint. But he declined to comment.
