North Korea has upheld nuclear and missile programs. The country is working to ensure that they are protected in military attacks. This information was released by the UN Security Council's approval committee's secret report. Reuters claims that the report of the 15-member committee of the United Nations has seen them.
Before the planned second conference of US President Donald Trump and South Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the report was found. Prior to the first meeting of Trump and Kim in June 2018, the North Korean leader pledged to completely withdraw from the nuclear program.
Trump says they have made great progress in the deal with North Korea. However, the UN report was completely reversed. In the report, allegations related to long-range intercontinental missiles and experiments have been made using Pyongyang's civilian facilities including airports. The country is moving ahead with the goal of avoiding attacks using such civilian structures.
The report said that the committee has found evidence of the addition, preservation and testing of North Korea nuclear and missile programs.
However, on Friday the UN Security Council members did not make any comment on the UN report in the North Korean mission about the 317 pages submitted to the Security Council members.
Since 2006, the United Nations Security Council has been increasingly sanctioning sanctions on North Korea. In addition to sanctions on coal, iron, copper, textile and marine food exports, the United Nations prohibits import of crude and refined petroleum products from the country.
