Three-day Bengali film festival in London

The three-day long Bengali film festival is going on in London. The festival, titled 'London Bengal Film Festival', was inaugurated on April 11, at Richmonds Center, East London. It shows four pictures of Bangladesh and Kolkata.
This is the fourth organizational event of the London Film Festival. Bangladeshi documentary 'Blossom from Ash' is being shown on Thursday, the first day of the festival. This documentary has been created with the story of the life of Rohingya refugees who took shelter in Bangladesh. It was the first show of the documentary. At present, the author and director of 'Blossom from Ash' Noman Rabin was present.
About half an hour in the documentary, the reality of the present day life of Rohingya people is highlighted. At the same time, the historical context of deprivation of power in the current Myanmar, Rohingya community of geopolitics and Rakhine region has emerged. At the end of the exhibition, answering the questions of the audience, Noman Robin said.
On the second day of the festival on Friday the local time was shown at three in the afternoon, 'The Lord Without Him'. Then it was displayed at 5pm on 'Rainbow Jelly'. The short film 'Three Moments' directed by Deewil Mukherjee, Kolkata will be displayed on the last day of the festival.
Munsur Ali, founder of the London Film Festival, said that the London Bengali Film Festival started with the aim of highlighting the experiences, struggles and their views of the Bengali immigrants in the largest range of the UK. Generally Bangla filmmakers of Bangladesh and Kolkata do not get the opportunity to present their works to the UK audience. The London Bengal Film Festival serves as the platform for them.
Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in the UK, Junker Nine, highlighted the perspective of providing shelter to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. He said Bangladesh and Bangladesh are doing the best with the help of the Rohingya. He said Bangladesh wants the international community to face the crisis. Besides, Canary Werf Group Secretary John Garwood, Speaker of Local Tower Hamlets Council Aiyas Mia spoke on the occasion.
