Attack in Sri Lanka: 190 killed, seven arrests

Police have arrested seven people suspected of involvement in a series of bomb attacks in Sri Lanka. So far 190 people have been killed in the incident. More than 400 people were injured in the bombings.
The Hindustan Times, according to various media reports, reported that Sri Lankan Defense Minister Ruhan Bijayavardhana said that seven suspects have been arrested in connection with the bomb blasts. So far 190 people have been killed in the incident. He also told that curfew was imposed in Sri Lanka on Sunday six. The curfew will be issued tomorrow till 6am on Monday.

This morning, there was a series of bomb attacks in the island nation. The attacks were carried out in the capital city of Colombo and the three suburbs and three major cities of the country. Later, two other places were attacked. Today is one of the biggest festivals of the Christian community Easter Sunday. During the attack Easter prayer was going on in three churches.
Earlier, the presidential building was informed that the decision was made by curfew issuing permission to investigate the attack. Curfew announcement was announced only after a top government meeting. In the meeting, senior security officials were present in the meeting besides Defense Minister Ruhan Bijoyerdhane.
After the horrific bombing, the government of Sri Lanka has decided to stop all social media, including Facebook, Twitter.
