Japan wants to think about China

There have been three serious concerns for national security for a decade. First China, second China, and thirdly China.
One of Japan's diplomats said the words. Tokyo is expanding military power surrounding Japan's concerns about China. This information was reported in a report by The Economist.
As part of the initiative to increase military power, Japan took steps to bring their biggest warship 'The Aizoomo' to the advanced level. The issue has created curiosity among people of the country and abroad.
Japan has recently ordered the purchase of 147 F-35 warplanes from America. Japan has planned to set up at least a dozen 'The Aizoomo' and its partner Kaga in the warships.
An indication of the change in Japan's defense policy is that 'The Aizoomo' is the initiative of reforming warships. The change may be small, but it is important.
Japan has constitutional obligations in terms of war and militaryization. Despite this obligation, there are Japanese military named 'Self-Defense Forces' (SDF). This force of strength, mainly emphasizes the country's defense. And depending on the rules of this work they rely on US troops. But the strategy of Japan is slowly changing.
Especially after Sinozo Abe became Prime Minister of Japan in 2012, he became interested in making SDF more than a simple military force. He passed the law to increase Japan's "military role" as part of a larger nationalist agenda.
In 2013, Abe formed the National Security Council (NSC). This council coordinates in addition to discussing defense and security policy. Five years after the guidelines (guideline). The NSC issued the last directive in December. This instruction is truly worth mentioning by a defense expert.
Three aspects of Japan's military policy change are noteworthy. The country's defense spending is increasing. Japan is increasing its military capabilities, especially in China's threat. The new guideline of the NSC has given space for space, cyber space and electromagnetic spectrum war for the first time. And the necessity of preparing Japan for these battles is in the NSC guideline. Japan has started work in this regard.
China and North Korea are aggressively increasing their military capabilities. Meanwhile, Donald Trump can not think of America as trustworthy as before. Officials say the situation is bound to make Japan change their military policy due to the situation arising.
If China does something else to do so, the goal is to do so, that is the goal of Japan. But the current leadership of Japan is not so easy. Because, most of the people in the country are in favor of amending constitution, strengthening military power.
