A media head of online media journal Maria Reza has been arrested. He was arrested from the head office of the media in Manila by various charges against him. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rapar.com.
During the arrest, Maria Reza told reporters that President Rodrigo Dutte has been accused of 'cyber crime' against him as part of an attempt to suppress the government's speech.
On Wednesday night, the BBC reported that Rapar's journalists were streaming Facebook and Twitter during the arrest of Maria Reza. Some journalists were taking pictures. At the time, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) officials asked to stop taking live and photographing.
President Rappler called the website of 'Vua News' as the president of the country. However, former President Dutte rejected the allegations of political intention against Rasa.
Rappler's message editor, Miriam Grace Go, said in a tweet message that NBR representatives led by Raslar's office to lead racers.
After the arrest, the Rasar colleagues asked their bail petition to a judge. However, the judge refused the application and ordered him to be sent to jail.
