Hendricks' interest in business expansion in Bangladesh

Hendricks Genetics, one of the Netherlands's poultry, fish and shrimp sectors, has expressed interest in expanding their business activities in Bangladesh. The president of the organization, Thez Hendricks, expressed this interest during a meeting with Bangladesh Ambassador to Bangladesh Sheikh Muhammad Belal at his office. On Monday (February 4th) Ambassador Belal and Councilor of Bangladesh Embassy visited the Headquarters and Headquarters of Hendricks Genetics in the city of Bukkumi.
Established in 1991, Hendricks Genetics is a technology research institute on genetics of various species of poultry sector. In this institute, high quality research activities are conducted in poultry, meat and fish sectors. Currently, the company operates turkey, egg-laying chicken (layer), salmon, shrimp and freshwater fish breeding activities. The Hendix Genetics Company, which operates around 3,500 workers worldwide, has its own Breeding Center in the Netherlands, France and Canada.
In the invitation of the Hendricks Genetics Company, the Ambassador and Counselor visited the company and detailed discussions about the potential areas of cooperation with Bangladesh. During the discussion, the ambassador described the progress of recent economic conditions of Bangladesh, geo-strategic positioning and the ability of purchasing power of the growing middle class, and considered these indicators as one of the key controllers for the decision to invest in Hendricks genetics in Bangladesh.
Currently Hendricks Genetics's annual turnover is around 1.22-1.5 million euros. The company supplies about 250,000 to 3 million pearns stock chickens every year in Bangladesh. According to the company, about 50 percent market share of the Leader Breeding sector is in their possession. Hendricks Genetics is the first company to bring commercially beneficial hybrid turkey chicken to the market. In addition, the company recently started supplying chicken chicken chicken in the market of Saso Color.
Are examining the possibility of taking a project to improve the quality of shrimp industry through their high quality experimental research and innovative strategies. The company's main goal is to produce quality shrimp brood by using pathogens-free and most sophisticated genetic technology and bring about the quality of the shrimp sector. The expansionary breeding program is one of the main goals of producing fast growing, high immune system and short food intake shrimp.
During the meeting Ambassador told Theand Hendricks that a representative of the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector from Bangladesh on February 26 will visit the Netherlands. During the visit, the Bangladesh Embassy organized a seminar in collaboration with Dutch partners on 27 February. Ambassador Thez Hendricks was invited to attend the seminar. Thez Hendricks expressed interest in joining the seminar. Thiand Hendricks also said that Hendricks Genetics is also considering signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bangladesh Fish and Sump Foundation (BFSS) during the delegation's visit to develop shrimp sector in Bangladesh. The ambassador expressed hope that a new era will start in Bangladesh's shrimp, poultry and aquaculture sector by investing in Hendricks' genetics. This initiative will make a huge contribution to the needs of the people of Bangladesh in increasing protein demand.
