Russia has withdrawn from the missile control agreement. The United States announced its withdrawal on Friday from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) contract with former Soviet Union. Within 24 hours Russia said that they are not in agreement.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Saturday that he would withdraw from the INF contract on Saturday. In a speech, he said Russia will create new missiles from now on.
Putin said, "Our US partners have announced that they will not be with the deal. We're also going out of it. However, the proposals that were taken in this regard in relation to the agreement were discussed on the table. The path of discussion is always open. '
