The United States has called on Pakistan to take long-term action against terrorists. Besides, Pakistan warned that if a terrorist attack again in India, the country will be in dire trouble.
A senior US administration official said on Wednesday that we want Pakistan to take appropriate and long-term measures against different terrorist organizations, including Jais-e-Muhammad (Jaim), Lashkar-e-Taiba. In order to avoid the increase in tensions in this region, this initiative has to be taken.
On condition of anonymity, the official said that if Pakistan does not take long and sincere action against terrorist organizations and any terrorist attacks happen, then the country will have to fall into the horrendous crisis. This will increase the tension again; Which will be dangerous for both countries.
In the Indian-controlled Pulwama, on February 14, 40 soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in suicide attacks. Zemi claimed responsibility for the attack. India then fired air strikes in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir Afterwards Pakistan started taking action against the terrorist organizations of Pakistan. In this context, the official said that Pakistan wants to see the international community including the United States and Pakistan take "unchanging and long-term" steps against these terrorist groups. He said there is still no time to give a complete statement.
Recently, the United States said that Pakistan took initial action against terrorist organizations. Some of the terrorist organizations seized the assets, arrested some. Apart from this, JEM has taken administrative control. The official said, "But we want to see more steps." Due to various events of the past, Pakistan needs to take unchangeable steps. Earlier, they arrested some and later released them. Besides, Pakistan has allowed the leaders of the terrorist organization to travel to different parts of the country.
The official said that the United States is working with international partners to raise pressure against Pakistan. Because the terrorist organizations have been continuing their activities for a long time.
The US has worked to mitigate tensions between the two countries after the Pulwama attack. To reduce this tension, United States of America, China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia and the European Union helped.
