Current president of Taiwan, Sai Ying-Wen is the first woman president of the country's history. Although popular in the world due to the unwillingness to engage in conflict with China, his popularity has decreased in his own country. A recent survey found that the number of people who want Ying-Owen as president is less than 30%. The next year's re-election proposal is also facing more skepticism. In this situation, Ying-owen directly challenged his former Prime Minister Li Keiing. In Ching, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) announced that he will stand against Ying-Wen in the presidential post.
This announcement is not about the choice of Ching-Thieran China. He is much more vocal about China's non-ching like the current President Ying-Owen, but for the formation of Taiwan's independent country as a separate independent country from China. China's commentary, if Taiwan wants to choose the path of independence, it can even wage war!
Ching said directly, 'Taiwan does not want to be second Hong Kong or Tibet.' The Taiwanese general public is no longer supporting the President of China's Preity of the ruling party. In the municipal elections last November, the ruling party DPP has been devastated by the main opposition party (KMT) near Kowmintang. During the Ying-Owen era, Taiwan's economic growth has slowed down so much that the majority of the general public of the country, Because the economy is not dynamic, the wages of the people are not increasing for a long time.
Yong-Owen stood as head of the DPP after the fateful November elections. A month later, Ching resigned as prime minister. DPP will organize a public opinion survey to determine who will be nominated for the post of president, in the presidential nomination, Ying-Owen and China. The person who receives more popularity in the survey will nominate him for the post of President. DPP will announce the final results on April 17.
DPP activists have expressed their apprehension that the Ying-Owen survey has been severely lagged so far. Eg-Owen's defeat is also a big threat, Taiwan may go to any anti-China leadership. After being annoyed with the activities of Yong-Weine, some of his own party support him in Ching. Ching-Thiru announced in the latest announcement Their idea is that the winning streak is more inclined towards Ching-Thor.
Meanwhile, supporters of Ying-Owen say the two-dimensional conflict will create large divisions in the team. They are so much emphasizing on party affiliation. In this, they indirectly indicated in Ching that he should step down from the presidential election.
The country's deputy prime minister and Prime Minister's supporters, Chen Chan-Me, have indicated that this conflict in the party can bring disaster to the country in the region. In a Facebook post, he wrote, 'The 2020 election will decide, Taiwan will not survive or will be wiped out.'
The main opposition KMT has not yet named the names of its presidential candidates. However, former New York City Mayor Eric Chu and former Parliament Speaker Wang Jin-Pang will compete with them. Taipei's popular mayor Ko Wayne-J and stand as an independent candidate in the election.
However, inevitably China will play an important role in this election. From the previous experience, the Chinese government knows that the decision to intimidate Taiwan's voters can return to Boomerang. Analysts believe that Chinese pressure on Taiwan may fall slightly in the coming months.
