In the Ayodhya Babri Masjid-Ram birthplace, the controversy over ownership of the controversial land is going on in the last 70 years. The case has been heard in more than one state in more than one court. But the matter has not been settled yet. After the demolition of the Babri Mosque on December 6, 1992, there was a worship of Lord Vishnu Ramchandra (Ram Lala) statue made in temporary temples there. Though the court verdict has issued status quo, the owner of the controversial 2.37 acres of land is still in the process of settlement. Allahabad High Court ordered in 2010 to give the controversial land equally divided into three categories, Lord Rama Lala, Arya Akhra and Sunni Wakf Board. The Supreme Court has taken all the decisions together, as the matter has been challenged by challenging the verdict. In this situation, five judicial benches led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi showed interest in mediation. The other members of the bench are Justice AS Bobber, Justice DY Chandra Chowdhury,

There are five parties in this case. Among them, Sunni waqf board and Astrakh agreed to mediate but Ram Lala prevailed, Hindu Mahasabha and Mahant Suresh Das Arazi. In spite of their objections, the Supreme Court ordered the submitting the names of the mediators, 'We are seeing the matter seriously. We want to take that opportunity even though the probability of mediation is one percent. '
The Supreme Court will resolve this dispute through a consistent hearing. The BJP and the Sangh Parishad wanted this case to be settled before the Supreme Court before the Lok Sabha polls. This council also put pressure on the government to issue an ordinance.
