The new international airport named after Australia's first woman pilot

Nassie-Bird Walton, one of the women's pioneers in Australian women's aisle, is going to name the country's new international airport. On Monday, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the name 'Western Sydney International Nancy-Bird Walton Airport'. The new airport will be introduced in Sydney in 2026 in Badger's Creek.
Sydney's second busiest international airport, Sydney's second airport, started construction last year to reduce the pressure of Kingsford Smith airport in Sydney. This name is named in honor of one of the women in the history of Australia, Nancy-Bird Walton. Australia's history addresses him as the "first woman aeronautics".
During the announcement of the airport name, Scott Morrison said, "The airport is being named after him to encourage women to play a leading role in the welfare of society. And the Australian sky hero would probably be proud of knowing it. Nancy-Bird Walton was born in 1915 in the state of New South Wales, Australia. At the age of 17, she received the license as the youngest woman in Australia, as the first woman pilot. Besides, the first woman to use the commercial license of the country's passenger plane.
